warranty

Supreme Caravans warrants that for a period of one year from the date of first purchase, any short comings in the original material or manufacture will be corrected without charge to the original purchaser for parts and labour incurred in that rectification.

Parts Replacement under Warranty – All parts must be returned to Supreme Caravans or an authorised Dealer before replacement Parts will be sent to the Customer.

Before Warranty work is performed by outside repairers – Proof of Claim must be shown to Supreme Caravans. e.g. Photos / E-Mails etc.

The warranty covers the original caravan only. It does not cover the following items:

  • Brakes or Tyres. For any claim please refer to the relevant manufacturer.
  • Appliances such as refrigerator, stove, microwave, freezer, air conditioner, radio or radio/cassette, television or other accessories or options which may be covered by a warranty applied by the manufacturer or supplier of the appliance or accessory. Removal and refitting costs of such items to enable the performance of repairs under that warranty is to be borne by the purchaser. Please refer to the local agency for service.
  • Any defect resulting from overloading, misuse, negligence, accident or other cause beyond the direct control of Supreme Caravans.
  • Any defect resulting from fitting or installation of any accessories or options such as an annexe, air-conditioner or other items after the caravan has left the premises of Supreme Caravans.
  • Any rectification or other work required due to alterations in Local, State or Federal legislation which occurs after manufacture of the caravan.
  • Any consequential damages or repair work necessitated due to continued usage or towing after a defect has, or should have, become apparent to the purchaser or user.
  • Any accommodation or re-location expenses. Loss of earnings or rents or other costs incurred before or whilst repairs under this warranty are being effected.

It is the responsibility and obligation of the purchaser to service and maintain the caravan in a safe and roadworthy condition. Failure to do so may void this warranty.

Freight, transportation and insurance are the responsibility of the purchaser, as is the cost of sending service staff to ‘on-site’ locations, in which case the charge may be in line with normal industry time and mileage charges.

If work under this warranty is required, the purchaser should immediately contact the closest authorised Supreme Dealership to where the unit is located or the selling Dealer to make arrangements for the repairs.

Please note that repairs can only be performed under this warranty if handled by, or through an authorised Supreme Dealership. Under no circumstances will Supreme Caravans reimburse costs for repairs performed by outside companies without prior approval being provided by Supreme Caravans or an authorised Supreme Dealer.

The above warranty given by Supreme Caravans is in addition to any rights provided to the purchaser through the Trade Practices Act 1974 (as amended) and/or any other relevant Federal or State legislation.
