In A few basics for travelling with a caravan Part 1 we gave you the first set of tips and considerations to bear in mind when planning a caravan trip. Now we'll move on to the second part, which is particularly useful when bringing your caravan through warmer environments like North West Australia:
1) If the air is dusty or the view is obscured in some way where you are driving, then slow down, stay in your lane and refrain from overtaking.
2) Pay attention to fire restrictions and bans and only light a fire in designated pits and areas.
3) Don't enter private property without express permission from the owners.
4) Leave areas as you find them, bring all rubbish with you and leave gates as you find them.
5) Only camp in clearly designated areas and reduce your speed at all waterways.
